Advanced Chip Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Platform Developer to join our team. As a key member of our digital development group, you will be responsible for driving the development of advanced chip design platforms.

• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of IC design and physical design flow.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including physical design, synthesis, and signoff to deliver cutting-edge software tools. Your expertise in EDA tools such as Cadence Innovus, Cadence Genus, and Cadence Cerebrus will be crucial in ensuring the success of our projects.

You will also be responsible for testing, validating, and deploying Innovus software for key customers. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential in this role.

Principal Responsibilities

• This position is for a Principal Product Engineer in the Digital and Signoff Group at Cadence. The Cadence Digital and Signoff Group offers a dynamic environment where you can work with R&D and customer engagement teams to influence the development of software tools for advanced chip design platforms.

Experience and Technical Skills Required

• Good understanding of physical design constraints such as power, clock, placement, routing, and timing.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, or Python.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including physical design, synthesis, and signoff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
