Content Writer Opportunity

We are a faith-tech startup dedicated to developing mobile and web apps catering to the devotional and spiritual needs of millions worldwide.

Our flagship product, Sri Mandir, is the world's largest app for Hindu devotees. Our mission is to enrich individuals' spiritual lives through innovative technology.

As a key member of our content team, you will create high-quality, SEO-friendly content across multiple formats and channels while maintaining editorial standards and managing calendars.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop in-depth rich content on the devotional and mythology space.
  2. Design and translate content for various marketing materials/channels like eBooks, infographics, and quizzes in English/Hindi.
  3. Research relevant trends, hot and trending keywords, gaps in content online, to create fresh content for the Devotional space for Indian and Global users.
  4. Establish content quality benchmarks and manage the quality of content being published.
  5. Collaborate with the editorial team to create a monthly and seasonal editorial calendar.
  6. Commission articles from the writing team (both freelance and in-house) and ensure timely delivery.
  7. Evaluate and approve submitted articles for cohesiveness and maintaining the voice and freshness of the content.
  8. Edit and rewrite articles, some of which may be rejected or returned to the writer for revision.
  9. Ensure all published content is of top-notch quality and reader-friendly.
  10. Ensure all published content is SEO friendly.
  11. Collaborate with multiple teams and deliver efficient results.
  12. Oversight artwork, design, and photography for web content.
