Senior Financial Operations Manager

We seek a seasoned finance leader to fill a critical role within our organization. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in accounting operations, with expertise in managing compliance and providing strategic financial guidance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping, MIS reporting, and AR/AP activities for US-based accounting
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, as well as prompt reporting of all financial information
- Support corporate budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Monitor departmental workflows to develop more efficient procedures and optimize resource utilization while maintaining accuracy
- Advise team members on handling non-routine reporting transactions
- Collaborate with the auditor to ensure a seamless and timely year-end audit
- Supervise the general ledger group to guarantee adherence to financial reporting deadlines
- Evaluate and implement industry best practices
- Take ownership of their work and be accountable for meeting company obligations
- Oversee staff scheduling, including work assignments, employee training, and vacations
- Provide constructive feedback and set goals for direct reports to enhance their professional development
- Develop and implement training programs as needed
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Sound knowledge of US GAAP, accounting procedures, taxation, and other statutory matters
- Excellent communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and leadership potential
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Office
- 4-7 years of finance/accounting experience, with 2-3 years of people management experience
- Commerce Graduate, preferably CA/CMA certified
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Immediate joiner, CA/CMA certified
- Experience in IT/service sectors
- Knowledge of US and Indian taxes
