Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance L2/L3 networking protocols, including Ethernet, VLAN, STP, LACP, LLDP IP, ARP, ICMP, IGMP, MLD OSPF, BGP, IS-IS MPLS, RSVP, LDP.
  • Develop and optimize QoS features, including classification, marking, and policing queue scheduling algorithms (WFQ, PQ, SP, etc.) and congestion control mechanisms.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex networking issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and test engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in L2/L3 networking protocol development.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.
  • Experience with QoS mechanisms and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong understanding of networking hardware and software architectures.
  • Experience with network simulation tools (e.g., IXIA, Spirent).
  • Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
