Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role as a Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) Engineer located in Navi Mumbai. The QAQC Engineer will ensure product and service quality by developing and implementing quality control and assurance processes and procedures.

The QAQC Engineer will conduct quality audits, perform inspections, and identify quality issues to ensure continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure TPI independence.

2. Document control, including Gad, ITP, procedure, ISO documentation, inspection reports, and NCR-CAPA.

3. Monitor and analyze quality performance.

4. Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to meet quality specifications.

5. Collaborate with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.

6. Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.

7. Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues.

8. Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.

9. Review codes, specifications, and processes.

10. Monitor incoming, process, and final inspection activities.

11. Verify raw material and inspect bought-out components.

12. Train quality and production personnel to improve quality and reduce rejection.

13. Prepare incoming inspection reports using checklists.

14. Submit timely inspection reports.

15. Maintain rejection and rework records.

16. Monitor 5S at the department level.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance/control, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Codes, including ASTM SEC II Part A & B, Sec IX, Sec V, and Sec VII.
  • ISO knowledge.
  • Awareness of 7 QC tools.
  • Preference given to experience in Oil & Gas processes.
  • Teamwork, interpersonal skills, written and oral communication, and attention to detail.
  • Technical understanding, design skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Quality control, quality assurance, and inspection skills.
  • Experience in quality auditing and quality management.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

Desirable Qualifications

Certifications in quality control and assurance, manufacturing or construction sector experience, and statistical analysis software knowledge are beneficial.
