About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Center Operations Head to lead our team in achieving key deliverables related to Student Lifecycle Management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing teams, driving program outcomes, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Ensure optimum utilization of existing resources by working closely with the Cluster/Regional Manager to achieve strategic plans and key deliverables.
- Mobilization: Maintain and effectively utilize key institutional and government partnerships to enable quality mobilization while achieving required numbers.
- Enrolment: Supervise enrolment processes to ensure end outcome in terms of numbers and quality, focusing on training and academic results.
- Placement: Monitor and enable student participation in placement activities and organize placement drives at the center.
- Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with process metrices and quality standards while continuously seeking opportunities for program improvement.
Culture Building:
- Promote Effective Planning: Emphasize a strong correlation between effective planning and execution, promoting a result-driven mindset coupled with a commitment to ethical principles.
- Mentoring and Counselling: Maintain quality standards along with mentoring and counselling of students to generate impact.
- Serve as a Role Model: Act as a role model and cultural ambassador for the organization, actively speaking out against incorrect behavior and work at Centers.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaison: Act as a liaison between the center and external stakeholders (colleges, schools & govt bodies) to represent the organization at community events.
- Collaboration: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners and other external stakeholders to enhance the impact and reach of the organization.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (PMO, Academic Excellence, HR, M&E, PRO, MIS, Curriculum, IT, Finance, Admin etc.) for operational requirements.
People Management:
- Foster Positive Work Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive and result-driven work environment.
- Team Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor a high-performing center team of mobilizers, academic counsellors and faculties.
- Optimal Productivity: Enable optimal productivity level of reporting teams.
- Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Employee Engagement: Manage employee engagement and attrition at the center level.
Financial Management:
- Budget Management: Manage the day-to-day center operational budget for related activities & functions effectively.
- Compliance and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of program activities and impact for reviews and internal and external audits.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Administration:
- Procurement: Oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Cost-Effective Measures: Implement cost-effective measures without compromising service quality.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of center facilities and report anomalies on time.
Desired Profile:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in skill development industry, with 3 years in team management.
- Donor Funded Operations: At least 3 years of experience in donor funded skilling operations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong Interpersonal skills; demonstrate patience & perseverance.
- Counseling Skills: Should be able to counsel students.
- Inclination towards Society: Must have the inclination towards society and working for marginalized community.
- Prior Experience: Prior experience as a Center Head in skill development projects will be an added advantage.
