Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Backend Software Engineer with 6–12 months of internship experience, who is proactive, eager to learn, and has a go-getter attitude.

As a Backend Developer, you will contribute to developing server-side web applications and assist in integrating front-end elements. This is an individual contributor role where you will work with a small but highly competitive and supportive team.

  • Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing features with server-side logic.
  • Write scalable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Identify and fix bugs promptly.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement server-side logic, such as creating and editing backend infrastructure using languages like PHP or Node.js.

Collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate user-facing features with server-side logic.

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable backend systems.

Work closely with the QA team to identify and resolve any backend-related issues.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to existing systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

At least 6-12 months of internship experience in backend development.

Basic knowledge of developing APIs.

Hands-on exposure to PHP, Node.js, MySQL, REST APIs, Microservices, Apache (academic/internship projects acceptable).

Good understanding of technology-related products and services.

Exposure to Azure/Google Cloud, PHP frameworks, or Angular is a plus.

Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
