Job Description

The role of a Treasury Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the organization's financial health by efficiently managing liquidity, foreign exchange exposures, and investments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Optimize cash flows across geographies to ensure optimal liquidity.
  • Develop short-term and long-term cash requirements forecasts.
  • Support automation initiatives for seamless host-to-host payments.

Foreign Exchange & Risk Management

  • Monitor FX exposures and execute hedging strategies as per policy guidelines.
  • Calculate MTM valuations and prepare detailed exposure reports.
  • Negotiate with banks on FX transactions and derivative instruments.

Investments & Fund Management

  • Evaluate and recommend investment options (Fixed Deposits, money markets, bonds, etc.).
  • Assess risk-return trade-offs and ensure compliance with investment policies.
  • Track portfolio performance, Profit and Loss statements, and maintain investment records.

Banking & Compliance

  • Interact with domestic and international banks for treasury operations.
  • Negotiate banking terms to reduce the cost of borrowing.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and internal treasury policies.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare management information systems, dashboards, and treasury reports for leadership.
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with accounting and audit teams for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Finance (CFA/FRM preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant corporate treasury experience.
  • Previous experience limited to banking roles will not be considered.
