Job Description:


As a PR professional, you will be responsible for liaising with clients and media on a daily basis via telephone and email. Building relationships and networking with colleagues, clients, and media professionals is crucial to your success in this role. You will monitor media channels for opportunities to promote clients' interests, develop client proposals, and implement public relations activities as part of an account team. Your tasks will include preparing regular client reports, attending client meetings, researching and writing press releases, promoting news stories and features to the media, collating, analyzing, and evaluating media coverage. Additionally, you will manage events such as press conferences and promotional events, assist with production of client publications, commission market research, coordinate photography shoots, undertake research for new business proposals, and manage crisis situations from a PR perspective.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  2. Media Relations: Build relationships with media professionals to promote clients' interests.
  3. Public Relations: Implement public relations activities to enhance clients' reputation.
  4. Event Management: Organize and manage events such as press conferences and promotional events.
  5. Content Creation: Research and write press releases, news stories, and features.
  6. Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze media coverage, and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Requirements:


  1. Proven experience in PR or a related field.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Qualifications:


  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPRC or APR.
