**About the Role**

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Officer to lead our engineering teams. This is a key leadership position that will be responsible for driving technology strategies and overseeing the development of scalable software solutions.

**What You'll Do**

As a Chief Technology Officer, you will directly work with our founding team to develop and implement technology strategies aligned with our business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example, providing hands-on coding experience to ensure technical excellence in all aspects of software development
  • Directly working with cross-functional teams to plan, prioritize, and execute product design and changes
  • Conducting regular planning sessions with the founding team to ensure alignment on product and business plans for the next 1-2 months
  • Recruiting, assigning, directing, and evaluating the work of engineers; overseeing their development and maintenance of employee competence
  • Maintaining high levels of autonomy while ensuring accountability to goals and strategic priorities

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team as an engineering manager or senior engineer/technical lead
  • Past experience in product companies or growing start-ups is preferred
  • A track record of holding teams accountable to goals and aligned with company-wide strategic priorities
  • Leadership, decision-making, effective communication, attention to detail, task delegation, and a deep understanding of how software is built and deployed
