Job Title: Web Security Expert

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team as a Web Security Expert. This role will involve implementing and maintaining web application firewalls, monitoring for potential threats, and collaborating with the security team to develop strategies for mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain web application firewalls using Imperva WAF
  • Monitor system logs for potential security threats and take corrective action as necessary
  • Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement strategies for mitigating risk
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging security trends and technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of web application firewalls and intrusion prevention systems
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Must be familiar with basic understanding of TCP/UDP packets, security tools such IDS/IPS, Web proxies, DNS security, DDoS protection, firewalls
  • Proven experience with cybersecurity tools and practices
  • Scripting and process automation experience with any mentioned tools
  • Usage of development tools like Git, VSCode is mandatory
  • Knowledge of data analytics library like pandas, will be added advantage
