Anti-Money Laundering Manager Role

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our anti-money laundering efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective AML strategies, policies, and procedures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate AML risks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field, fluency in English (spoken and written), and Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AML strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Manage and maintain AML systems, tools, and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate AML risks
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gather and analyze data, and make informed recommendations to senior management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and dashboards to track AML performance and trends
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on AML policies, procedures, and best practices
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Proven ability to work with and analyze large amounts of data
  • Effective communication and writing skills
  • A high level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with knowledge of languages other than English, certification in Compliance or AML, experience working in KYC, Transaction monitoring, Sanctions or EDD departments, and a bachelor's degree in Law, Justice Studies, Criminology, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Government & Public Services.
