Job Opportunity: Health Specialist

The role of an Employee Health Specialist is pivotal in managing and maintaining the health benefits of clients. This position plays a key part in enhancing client satisfaction, retention rates, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service existing clients to foster strong relationships and expand business opportunities.
  • Analyze clients' existing portfolios and provide expert advice on risk management strategies.
  • Identify gaps in policies and negotiate improved terms with insurers.
  • Maintain high client retention rates through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Develop and present proposals for client presentations and contribute to roadshows.
  • Engage with clients to complete quarterly/annual satisfaction surveys and ensure their needs are met.
  • Coordinate timely invoicing and booking of business transactions.
  • Collaborate with other practices to explore portfolio-level penetration opportunities and enhance client engagement.
  • Negotiate with insurance markets to source optimal solutions for clients.
  • Verify that documentation and policy issuance align with agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Monitor renewals and send timely reminders for premium payments to prevent lapses.
  • Provide assistance with claims-related queries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute deliverables for clients and maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills and experience in a leadership role, demonstrating ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Excellent networking and relationship management skills, building trust with clients and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying information and persuading stakeholders.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or Third-Party Administration (TPA), with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures, including Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation, and PSU clients, with domain knowledge being a plus.
