Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and driven professional to join our team as an Interior Designer cum Sales Executive. This exciting role combines interior design expertise with exceptional sales skills, allowing you to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually stunning designs for various interior projects, demonstrating innovative thinking skills.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their objectives, desires, and specific needs for their space.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and the internal team to address client needs and ensure project alignment.
  • Present compelling proposals to clients, utilizing 3D renderings, 2D layouts, mock-ups, and other visual aids to showcase design concepts.
  • Analyze prospective clients and effectively sell Decorpot's products and services, highlighting their value and benefits.
  • Develop business proposals and contracts designed to attract new clients and generate revenue.
  • Prepare accurate quotes for clients and ensure the full design and sales workflow is diligently followed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide the best solutions for clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Skills
  • Excellent creative thinking skills and ability to translate client conversations into design concepts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written) to articulate design ideas and proposals.
  • Resilient and empathetic approach to client interactions, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and effectively sell products/services.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or similar programs).
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and sales leads.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on revenue generation.
  • Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior, to better understand client motivations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience in residential designs and modular kitchens.
  • Prior experience in a sales role, preferably in interiors, real estate, or a related field.
