Key Roles and Responsibilities

You will serve as a key technical expert, providing pre-sales advisory support for HCL's application security portfolio in India.

Working closely with the Sales team, you'll design customer-centric solutions and deliver impactful demos and PoCs.

Primary Tasks:
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, PoCs, and workshops for AppScan and AppScan on Cloud.
  • Prepare responses for technical sections of RFIs/RFPs and address customer queries.
  • Guide customers in adopting AppScan within secure DevSecOps practices.
  • Partner with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Build reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).
  • Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in AppSec or enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (DAST, SAST, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Experience with AppScan or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.

  • Location: Mumbai, India (Hybrid role)
  • Primary Product Focus: AppScan (on-premises and cloud)
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 25–30% within India (primarily customer meetings and partner sessions)
