About the Role

The Clearing and Settlement Analyst will play a key role in the Securities & Custody Operations team at 0784 Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft, Filiale Mumbai, supporting local and offshore clients of the GTB – Investor Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate trade processing and regulatory reporting activities within the team.
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of processing meets client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor volume inflow and allocate resources and workflows accordingly.
  • Provide technical operational expertise for client and team queries.
  • Develop a robust mechanism to handle volume peaks during peak seasons.
  • Ensure task closure within prescribed SLAs.
  • Adhere to internal and external process guidelines, including compliance and legal requirements, to maintain a robust control environment.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Ensure adequate backups for critical positions and assist other teams during contingencies.
  • Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders for the growth of the bank's business.
  • Handle day-to-day FX/Cash processing for offshore and local clients, FX and Regulatory reporting for the India market, break analysis, and escalations, along with stakeholder follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Graduate with 5-8 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Experience in the Indian capital markets, settlements, or custody background is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
