Expert Software Deployer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced software deployer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, testing, and releasing software within the customer environment.

  • The successful applicant will primarily focus on ensuring the correct packaging and delivery approach is utilized for each application.
  1. They will execute the steps of the application deployment process efficiently, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  2. Incident resolution and request handling related to packages will be performed in accordance with established SLAs.
  3. Effective communication will be maintained with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as necessary.
  4. Management and support of customer environments built with Windows client operating systems will also be provided.
  5. Assigned incidents will be addressed promptly, and updates will be made to the customer and ITSM tickets throughout their lifecycle.
  6. Collaboration with the Service Desk, other resolver groups, customers, and vendors will be required to resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • At least four years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems are mandatory.

Required Skills:

  1. A thorough understanding of the MSI and MSIX deployment frameworks is essential.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Windows 11 and Active Directory Group Policies is required.
  3. An intermediate level of PowerShell scripting and basic VB scripting skills are necessary.
  4. Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family is highly beneficial.
  5. Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning abilities are paramount.
