Job Description

The role of a Technical Artist is to bring innovative and interactive user interfaces to life. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless experiences across various platforms.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing UI designs in Unity for PC, mobile, and AR/VR platforms. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and 3D artists to create visually stunning and responsive user experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing UI features such as 2D and 3D layouts, menu logical flows, animations, and more in Unity.
  • Optimizing UI for performance to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Creating and managing micro animations in Unity.
  • Building custom shaders and optimizing particle systems in Unity.
  • Working with 3D assets, including creation, texturing, and rigging.
  • Collaborating with designers to build UX prototypes in Unity.
  • Writing basic C# scripts to integrate UI elements with the overall system.
  • Building and maintaining a prefab library.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4 to 5 years of experience as a technical artist.
  • A portfolio showcasing your skills and experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Unity, especially in UI implementation.
  • Experience with creating custom shaders and working with particle systems.
  • Knowledge of tweening and micro animations in Unity.
  • Basic C# programming skills.
  • Familiarity with UX prototyping and design principles.
  • Basic Photoshop, Illustrator, and Maya/Blender skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
