Job Title: Medical Coding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of medical coding practices.

  • The duties and responsibilities of a Medical Coding Specialist vary from one healthcare facility to another. In this role, you will work closely with healthcare providers to assign accurate codes to medical procedures and diagnoses.
  • You will also be responsible for reviewing patients' charts and documents to ensure that all necessary information is captured.
  • Making sure that codes are assigned correctly and sequenced appropriately as per government and insurance regulations.
  • Complying with medical coding guidelines and policies.
  • Familiarity with ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes is required.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
