Job Title: Android Software Developer Specialist

Job Description

As a seasoned Android software developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications using Kotlin. Your expertise in outside data sources and APIs, as well as your ability to test code for robustness, performance, usability, and reliability, will be crucial in delivering high-quality products.

You will oversee the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring that coding standards are met, code reviews are conducted, source control management is maintained, build processes are optimized, and testing is thorough.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to success in this role. You will work closely with engineers, developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Deep understanding of Kotlin and Android frameworks
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Experience with push notifications integrations
  • Familiarity with Google's Android Design Principles and Application Interface Guidelines
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and C++

A portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store and 4+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin are also highly desirable.
