Job Title: Operational Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned operational risk management specialist to lead and manage independent projects across various areas, including internal control assessments, third party risk management, and business continuity planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects that identify, assess, and mitigate risks to financial institutions, ensuring ongoing monitoring and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and validate existing frameworks, policies, and risk matrices for theoretical soundness and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk-based process reviews, assessing key aspects of each area under review.
  • Demonstrate independence in planning, stakeholder engagement, testing design, and results interpretation, producing documentation strong enough to evidence a sound challenge.
  • Work with a broad group of stakeholders to investigate operational risk, undertake detailed risk and control self-assessment, define KRIs, monitor KRI, and establish linkages to loss data and incident reporting workflows.
Requirements:
  • 5-12 years of experience in operational risk management, with expertise in incident management, third party risks, business continuity planning, and risk-based process reviews.
  • CA or MBA degree, or any other relevant master's program, and preferably certifications in project management and ORM.
  • Exposure to GRC tools such as MetricStream, SAP GRC, etc., and language proficiency in English.
