Job Opportunity: Senior Backend Engineer

At our organization, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and building scalable microservices with low-latency design and high-throughput.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing custom algorithms and data models to support various workflows such as pricing, availability, and inventory. They will also be expected to own end-to-end modules from design to rollout and collaborate closely with product and architect teams.

We are seeking an engineer who is proficient in using AI developer tools (Claude, Cursor) and Large Language Models (LLMs) via prompts, RAG, and agents to accelerate development. Additionally, they must participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline that supports frequent, reliable, and automated deployments.

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate

To excel in this role, you should have strong experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or ScyllaDB, and be familiar with distributed, event-driven systems using SQS, Kinesis. You should also have a solid understanding of fault tolerance, backpressure, and scalability.
