Backend Developer Job Description

About Our Organization:

We are a FinTech company developing innovative AI tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement secure RESTful APIs using Node.js + Express.js
  • Develop and maintain server-side applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, Express (Node.js), or Laravel (PHP)
  • Implement authentication and authorization systems
  • Design and manage database schemas using MongoDB Atlas or other databases with PostGRE SQL
  • Develop efficient data models and database queries
  • Implement blockchain-based certificate verification system
  • Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance
  • Integrate third-party services and external APIs when needed
  • Document API endpoints and backend functionality for front-end developers

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in one or more backend frameworks
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Ruby
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL (Supabase), SQLite, or NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles
  • Broad knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Awareness of security concerns and best practices
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
