Job Title: Senior Data Architect

\

As a senior data architect, you will lead our professional services team in delivering end-to-end solutions for distributed data business problems. You will work with private and public sector organizations to engage from early stage conversations through to production implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Technical lead and trusted advisor for large multi-cluster customers\
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and drive development of use cases and analyze solutions to distributed computing challenges\
  • Design and implement enterprise data cloud architectures and configurations for customers\
  • Mentor junior consultants and architects\
  • Help define our approach and screen candidates in the technical hiring process\
  • Write and produce technical documentation, blogs, and knowledge base articles\
  • Present to customer/internal stakeholders on various topics including technical designs, architectures, and best practices\
  • Experience managing project delivery and leading a technical team\
  • Strong experience designing, architecting, and implementing software solutions in an enterprise Linux environment\
  • Excellent communication skills, experience with public speaking, and ability to present to a wide range of audiences\
  • Proven knowledge of big data/analytical use cases and best practice approaches to implement solutions\
  • Experience with open source ecosystem programming languages, Cloud Platforms, and data management ecosystem\
  • Knowledge of scripting tools and DevOps methodology and toolsets\
  • Ability to travel approximately 70%\
  • Experience implementing machine learning algorithms using R or TensorFlow and deep understanding of statistical methods is a plus\
  • External publications in relevant technologies is a plus\
