We are a cutting-edge FinTech startup pushing boundaries in Indirect Taxes & Global Trade. Our team leverages AI techniques to drive innovation and value for corporate customers.

This role offers the opportunity to work with and learn AI techniques, applied research in tax planning, compliance, and strategies from a product development perspective. Analytical tasks will support tax-related capabilities and strategies with a focus on Global Trade - Customs, Excise, VAT/GST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support tax-related capabilities and strategies with a focus on Global Trade - Customs, Excise, VAT/GST.
  • Work with AI techniques, applied research in tax planning, compliance, and strategies from a product development perspective.
  • Analyse data to drive business decisions and improve tax efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Research interest in Taxation, strategic and tactical implications on Trade, impact on GDP, and Tax Compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork abilities, enthusiasm for learning, and a proactive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of global trade and tax regulations is a plus.

Additional Information:

This internship role is full-time and located in Bangalore Urban district. The ideal candidate will be pursuing further research towards a Master's or PhD in a related field.
