Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer to lead the development and deployment of cloud solutions using Azure DevOps and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities include:

  • Azure DevOps Management
    • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline development and deployment processes.
    • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud services and applications.
  • Cloud Infrastructure
    • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP, including virtual machines, containers, and storage solutions.
    • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates.
  • Automation & Scripting
    • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to manage and deploy cloud resources efficiently.
    • Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Monitoring & Performance
    • Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost management.
    • Implement monitoring solutions and alerts to proactively address issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business needs and best practices.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to teams in using Azure DevOps and GCP effectively.
  • Security & Compliance
    • Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
    • Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and configurations.
    • Provide regular reports on cloud performance, incidents, and improvements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management and cloud automation.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with monitoring and performance optimization in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud computing.
