Job Title: Data Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Management Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Manage the installation, implementation, and configuration of data management technologies.
  • Perform day-to-day monitoring, reporting, and management of large storage devices and tape libraries.
  • Handle administration and troubleshooting in complex storage environments.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain data backup and restore activity plans.
  • Utilize monitoring, reporting, and alert mechanism tools to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors for issue resolution and support.
  • Work on multi-platform environments including Windows, Linux, Unix variants, Solaris.
  • Apply scripting knowledge for automation and optimization tasks.
  • Provide support for data platforms across various technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in data management technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data management concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in SAN/NAS environments and enterprise storage management.
  • Experience with monitoring & alerting tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, VB, etc.) for system administration.
  • Basic understanding of multiple operating systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for handling multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in data management technologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise IT infrastructure within BFSI/Banking/Telecom domains.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
