Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Hiring for a talented Sr Consultant - Data Scientist with 8-12 years of overall analytics experience and a minimum of 7 years of machine learning/data science experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in applying appropriate analytics techniques to build statistical models, including handling pre- and post-modeling deliverables.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of data analytics tools and technologies, with at least 6 Years of hands-on experience in applying appropriate analytics techniques to build statistical models.
  • Very strong hands-on working knowledge of Python and SQL, along with good hands-on knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience working across both structured and unstructured data (text) leveraging classification, regression, unsupervised, NLP and other techniques.
  • The ability to perform assignments that involve providing analyses and insights directly to client stakeholders, proposing ideas for building strong internal/external analytics processes, and performing analytics opportunity identification, roadmap development, technology, requirements analysis.
  • Exposure to at least two of the following sectors: Healthcare, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, E-Commerce.

Addional Technical Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Machine Learning methods like Decision trees (CART, Random Forest etc.), Support Vector Machines (SVM), Naïve Bayes, KNN, and unsupervised learning techniques like PCA, Clustering.
  • Knowledge of text mining which involves text categorization, concept/entity extraction, sentiment analysis and document summarization for structured and unstructured dataset.
  • Working with cutting edge tools and teams in data acquisition/ETL, visualization and sales process design to integrate in analytic application via CRM platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Generative AI will be a bonus.
