Job Overview

Elevate your career as a seasoned audit professional by taking on the role of Vice President, Internal IT Audit. In this key position, you will be responsible for driving the success of our technology-based audit initiatives and ensuring the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our work.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of assigned issues, overseeing test step development, risk assessment, validation of remedial activities, and reporting to senior management.
  • Manage internal stakeholders and supervise the quality of and judgment calls in audit work, ensuring consistency with established methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the Audit Director to provide ongoing feedback throughout each issue validation cycle, escalating concerns related to execution when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this demanding role, candidates must possess a strong background in internal or external auditing, risk management, and IT auditing. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in internal or external audit and risk management, with a focus on IT auditing or technology-related roles.
  • Proven supervisory experience within the last 3 years, with a track record of successful team leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technology, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with industry guidelines, such as FFIEC, NIST CSF, COBIT, COSO, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Professional certifications like CIA, CPA, CISSP, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
