Legal Advisor Position

This is a high-profile role that involves delivering expert legal advice and guidance to support the strategic growth of our organization. As a Legal Advisor, you will provide comprehensive legal support to various departments across the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and effective legal advice to stakeholders at all levels on a wide range of matters, including commercial, employment, intellectual property, data privacy, ethics, and generative artificial intelligence (GAI).
  • Managing litigation and arbitration matters, including civil, criminal, labour, property, and commercial disputes.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex commercial agreements to ensure the most advantageous legal and commercial terms for the company.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver training and legal risk management initiatives to senior management and employees.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in law, with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience as an in-house lawyer or in a law firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of commercial acumen, solution-oriented approach, and ability to identify legal risks, issues, and solutions across a broad spectrum of legal areas.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage complex tasks under pressure.

Additional responsibilities include keeping abreast of legal developments, fostering a culture of ethical conduct, and supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
