  • Departmental needs assessment and consultant requirement analysis.
  • Participation in clinical compensation patterns and tariff revisions.
  • Performance analysis of retainer doctors.
  • Monitoring and rationalizing doctor costs.
  • Rationalization of surgical and medical charges.
  • Quality monitoring, accreditation, and assurance services for clinicians.
  • Conducting medical advisory board meetings and coordination.
  • Consultant recruitment and management.
  • Induction, onboarding, credentialing, and privileging of new consultants.
  • Training and re-privileging consultants.
  • Maintenance of personnel files.
  • Addressing clinical governance-related issues.
  • Peer review and drafting responses for medico-legal cases.
  • Conducting morbidity and mortality meetings.
  • Audit of clinical billing codes.
  • Providing clinical input for medico-legal cases.
  • Engaging teams through various initiatives.
  • Recommendation of junior clinical manpower.
  • Evaluating academic activities.
  • Initiating training programs.
  • Digitization of medical records.
  • Awareness programs and campaigns.
  • Medical audits and facilitating JCI/NABH accreditation.
