Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic Technical Lead to join our Research & Development Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing leading-edge Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) supply chain management applications that drive complex multi-company supply chain management dashboards, workflows, and business-to-business supply chain data interchanges.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Design and develop three tier - high performance and scalable enterprise product.
  • Feature Development: Own feature development from definition, design through delivery.
  • Full Stack Development: Hands-on full stack developer who is passionate about Java/J2EE development, UI, SQL, building highly scalable and resilient applications, and focused on solving complex business problems.
  • Leadership: Orientation to contribute both as a technical lead as well as an individual contributor.
  • Mentorship: Lead the team to deliver high quality software, by reviewing their work and mentoring them.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to research, follow up and resolve complex challenges.
  • SDLC Participation: He/She will have responsibility for unit-level design, coding, unit testing, integration testing and participating in the full SDLC.
  • Code Quality: He/She will be expected to produce high-quality code that can pass critical peer review, and to work under a high-pressure and timeline-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years' experience in product development.
  • Skillset: Responsible, organized and possess critical thinking with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership Aptitude: Able to demonstrate good analytical problem-solving abilities and strong leadership aptitude.
  • Teamwork: Able to work at both abstract and detailed level.
  • Communication: Must be fluent in English, and strong communication skills.
  • Self-Starter: Motivated self-starter that likes to work as part of a team.

Technical Requirements

  • Core Java: Strong experience in Core Java, Collections and Data structures.
  • Spring/Spring Boot: Develop solutions using core java, Spring / Spring Boot, JSON, Rest API and other web technologies.
  • UI Development: Hands on with UI development with strong experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Responsive UIs. Added advantage for exposure to Angular. Ability to design and develop UIs and end to end integration.
  • Object-Oriented Analysis: Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Code Standards: Enforcing and Writing code following good standards (well documented with good code coverage and properly tested code).
  • Databases: Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Hibernate and Mybatis). Ability to model & design databases for high availability and high volume.
  • Scalable Platform: Ability to design and build a scalable platform with APIs.
  • Code Review: Strong programming skills, as well as the ability to review complex code bases written by others.
  • Test-Driven Development: Strong knowledge of test-driven development and continuous integration
  • Security: Exposure to security, application clustering and load balancing techniques.
  • Agile Methodologies: Passion for collaboration and working on agile teams. Prior experience with working on fast paced milestones using flexible and adaptive methodologies.

Salary Estimate: The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on the specific requirements and qualifications of the candidate.
