Manual Tester Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to work in software quality assurance.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing life cycles (STLC).

You will be responsible for analyzing business and technical requirements, creating effective test cases, and executing manual testing of web and mobile applications.

Your primary goal will be to ensure product quality and reliability by identifying defects and collaborating with developers and QA leads to resolve issues.

This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test cases and scenarios.
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring product quality and reliability.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to resolve issues.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • Good knowledge of database testing (SQL queries).
  • Experience testing web applications and mobile applications.
