Job Title: Digital Illustrator

  • We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Illustrator to create compelling illustrations and digital artwork.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing brand that values creativity, culture, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop original illustrations and digital artwork for Product, packaging & merchandise.
  2. Translate conceptual ideas into visual narratives that reflect brand values, emotions, and product essence.
  3. Collaborate with the design, marketing, category & product development teams to develop cohesive visual narratives.
  4. Adapt illustration styles for different mediums - print, web, packaging, and physical products.
  5. Maintain consistency in visual tone while pushing creative boundaries with character design, patterns, typography-led compositions, and cultural motifs.
  6. Stay current on art, design, and cultural trends and reflect that awareness in work.
  7. Ensure illustrations meet quality and color standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Strong grasp of color theory, composition, form, and character design.
  2. Proficiency in digital illustration tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or similar software.
  3. Versatility in working across different illustration styles (quirky, modern-ethnic, minimal, maximal, pop-culture-inspired, etc.).
  4. Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to visually interpret emotions, themes, and narratives - while bringing your own distinctive artistic voice to guided creative direction.
  5. Familiarity with art, culture, flora-fauna, and mythology is a plus.
  6. Prior work in lifestyle, gifting, fashion, D2C brands, or packaging design is an advantage.
  7. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
