Job Opportunity: Resiliency Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust testing strategies for complex applications and infrastructure.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate system recovery and high availability.
  • Perform rigorous stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities Continue:

  • Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to engineering teams.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis on test failures and collaborate with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations.
  • Monitor system behavior during disruption scenarios, highlighting performance bottlenecks and proposing enhancements.

Required Skills:

  • 5–8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages including Python and Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps and engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
