Job Title: Business Data Architect - Contract

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years in data engineering with a focus on database architecture and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Data Architect - Contract, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data architectures that support business growth and innovation. Key skills include advanced Postgres SQL expertise, data modeling using star schema, facts, and dimensions, semi-structured data handling, ETL/ELT tool proficiency, and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced Postgres SQL expertise, including query writing, CTEs, window functions, indexing, and optimization.
  • Data modeling using star schema, facts, and dimensions.
  • Semi-structured data handling using json/jsonb in Postgres.
  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools, such as Airbyte.
  • Experience preparing data for dashboards, preferably with Tableau.
  • Understanding of data validation, QA checks, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
