Business Analyst Role

This is a high-level position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in business consulting, FP&A, and zero-base budgeting.

We are looking for someone who can develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis. The role involves driving execution of the business-analytics roadmap, leading client workshops, and defining business problems concisely.

The successful candidate will be able to liaise with customers, present solutions convincingly, and question them when required. They will also contribute to organization building through training, mentoring, and developing repeatable analytic approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own & drive execution of the business-analytics roadmap by demonstrating techno-functional consulting & stakeholder management capabilities in collaboration with data science & engineering SMEs and teams
  • Leading client workshops where broad vision and ambiguous business problems are articulated to be solved through data science and AI
  • Define business problems concisely, consolidate the findings and hypothesize the proposed solution. Measure and articulate how solutions and results improve clients' objectives
  • Independently liaise with customers and convincingly present solutions in an unstructured and ever-changing client environment. Be able to independently question the customer, when required.

Required Skills:

  • Business consulting experience; experience around FP&A, Zero Base Budgeting and other related finance themes
  • Proven exceptional problem-solving analytical skills with an ability to blend creativity and logical thought to innovatively think through a problem and develop solutions
  • Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis
  • Should have developed new consulting business capabilities within target Industry verticals
