Key Role:

The Automation Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks to enhance QA productivity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design the architecture of automation projects with consideration for scalability and maintainability.
  • Develop and implement effective automation strategies to improve QA efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with teams on the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools, and templates.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Mentor junior and senior software quality engineers in the development of automation skills.
  • Experience in RESTful SOAP Web services is highly valued.
  • Experience in BDD Tools like JBehave or Cucumber is essential.
  • Experience in CI Tools like Jenkins is also beneficial.
  • Experience in Database testing and knowledge of Built tools like Gradle or Maven is advantageous.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively in geographically dispersed teams and customer-facing experience is a must.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 17-20 years of experience in Test Automation with hands-on experience in different automation tools Selenium, UFT, Web Services, Soap UI, API testing.
  • Strong hand-on Core Java skills are necessary.
  • Very strong analytical skills to analyze the test automation architecture as a whole system and not as individual components.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airlines ecommerce Automation testing experience is a significant plus.
  • Experience in transitioning automation activities from other teams vendor will definitely be a big plus.
