Job Title: Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to lead our cloud migration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud native services, container services, and Agile and DevOps concepts.

A strong background in Computer Science/Software Engineering is required, along with excellent communication and written skills.

The role requires knowledge of security controls for the Public Cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management), Linux and Windows containers, Open Source Cloud, and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible, etc.).

Experience with alternate cloud providers (e.g., Azure) and in the Manufacturing industry is also preferred.

  • ">Main Responsibilities:
  • • Design architecture for sizing/scalability and performance.
  • • Develop and Maintain AWS/Azure Cloud Services in accordance with Security and Standards.
  • • Write solution design documents.
  • • Present solution definition documentation to Architecture Review Council.
  • • Remedy any availability, regulatory, or performance-related operational deficiencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud native services, container services, and Agile and DevOps concepts.
  • Excellent communication and written skills, including experience creating technical architecture documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of security controls for the Public Cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management), Linux and Windows containers, Open Source Cloud, and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible, etc.).
