We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and building core systems from scratch, including backend infrastructure, APIs, and orchestration engines.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the architecture of our platform and make a significant impact on urban logistics in India. You will work closely with our CPTO and co-founders to drive innovation and growth.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in building and shipping backend systems, with a strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and API design. They should also be comfortable with DevOps tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, and ECS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Design and build core systems from scratch, including backend infrastructure, APIs, and orchestration engines.">
  • Shape architecture decisions that will define our platform for years to come.">
  • Work closely with our CPTO and co-founders to drive innovation and growth.">
  • Influence technical culture, standards, and early team-building.">
  • Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure (RDS, Redis, OSRM servers, ECS/Fargate, VPCs, CI/CD pipelines).">
  • Productionize demand prediction, rider assignment, and fleet balancing models.">
  • Translate architecture into production code, keeping things simple and reliable.">
  • Define best practices, review code, and grow into a leadership role as the team scales.">

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in building and shipping backend systems.">
  • Strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and API design.">
  • Comfortable with DevOps tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, and ECS.">
  • Experience with AWS stack: EC2, RDS/Postgres, Redis, networking basics (VPC, NAT, IGW).">
