Automation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing automated testing and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Automated Testing Processes: Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Implement Automated Deployment Processes: Design and implement automated deployment processes to streamline the release of software updates.
  • Maintain and Improve Existing Processes: Continuously monitor and improve existing automation processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Programming Languages: Proficient in languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
  • Automation Tools: Experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, Katalon Studio, or WebdriverIO.
  • Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or PageSpeed.
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Travis CI.
  • SDLC and Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication and Leadership: Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
