Job Title:

Automation Tester

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Write Python scripts for automation purposes, focusing on web and API testing.
  • Develop Python scripts specifically for web and API automation testing, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Use Python to automate repetitive testing tasks, speeding up the release process.
  • Maintain & extend a Selenium automation framework developed in Python.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure releases meet quality standards.
  • Act as a bridge between testing and development to understand features and implement appropriate tests.
  • Own testing for core modules and APIs, ensuring they perform as expected.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Functional QA background, focusing on ensuring software meets business and functional requirements.
  • Strong experience in Python development, proficiency in writing, debugging, and optimizing Python code for testing purposes.
  • Selenium automation using Python, including locators, synchronization, and browser handling using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Ability to manage and extend existing Python-based automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with organizing tests, data-driven testing, and using tools like pytest or unittest with Selenium.
  • Experience in testing web applications and APIs, particularly RESTful services.
