Job Title: Functional Consultant - D365 Finance and Operations

The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (MSD 365) finance and operations, specifically in project management and functional consulting.

We are seeking a skilled professional who can gather and analyze client business processes to re-engineer and design solutions that improve operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of D365 F&O - Project Management/Accounting module and be able to set up and configure 'Project Management'/ 'Accounting' modules.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Gathering and analyzing client business processes to re-design the solution improving operational efficiency
  • Performing functional support tasks for D365 F&O application maintenance and operations
  • Implementation of 'Project Management'/ 'Accounting' modules
  • Knowledge of 'Production Engineering', 'SCM' and 'Trade & Logistics' is an added advantage
  • Investigating problems to establish real or hidden causes
  • Drive Fit-Gap analysis & Conference Room Pilot (CRP)
  • Collaborating with business user(s) to understand problem statement and providing/implementing best suitable solution
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the solution tightening interfaces and enhancing Dynamics 365 F&O features
  • Solution testing for business acceptance and accuracy
  • Communicating issues and project tasks to team in appropriate forum

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as ability to work independently with international customers. The ideal candidate will also have good analytical and logical thinking skills.

The selected candidate will actively work with all involved to mitigate risks, participate in Master Data validation, cut-over and go live activities, and be open to travel.
