Healthcare Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Data Scientist to leverage analytical expertise and domain knowledge in the healthcare space. The ideal consultant will uncover insights, build predictive models, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale claims and provider datasets.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL scripts for data extraction and transformation.
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure data accuracy.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in healthcare data to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, methodologies, and data definitions for transparency and reproducibility.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven hands-on experience working with healthcare claims and provider data.
- Advanced SQL expertise (data manipulation, aggregation, performance tuning).
- Strong Python skills with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work in fast-paced environments.
