Senior Engineering Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our application development teams. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and direction to the application development team, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a team of engineers, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of complex software projects, ensuring that they meet business requirements and are aligned with company goals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, such as product management and IT operations, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years of experience in leading technical teams, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development principles, practices, and technologies, including Java, NoSQL, Spring Boot, and Docker.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
