Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and help us build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to design, develop, and maintain core backend systems that power our applications.

Responsibilities

We utilize Node.js with frameworks like Fastify and Express to design, develop, and maintain backend services. We operate within a monorepo architecture (Turborepo or Nx) to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases. We implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. We containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes. We deploy and maintain infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We write well-documented APIs and test them using Postman and automated tools. We conduct load and performance testing to ensure system reliability under scale.

Requirements

You must have strong experience with Node.js, Typescript, and its ecosystem. You should have experience working with monorepo setups (Turborepo, Nx). You need proficiency in CI/CD workflows and tools. You must have hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments. You should have cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP services. You need experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP, etc. You should have familiarity with API testing (Postman) and load testing tools (k6, JMeter, etc.). You must have a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. You should have solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORMs such as Drizzle or Prisma. You need excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You should have good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
