We are seeking a skilled Rebar Detailer to join our team. This role involves creating accurate and detailed drawings for rebar placement in structural components using customer-provided architectural and engineering documents.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working on large and complex projects with 2+ years of experience in Structural Steel Detailing. They should be proficient in software such as aSa, CADS RC, and Revit. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating accurate and detailed drawings for rebar placement in structural components
  • Reviewing contract documents and identifying potential issues or ambiguities
  • Estimating the time required to complete detailing tasks based on project scope and complexity

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work closely with checkers and other detailing crew members to meet project requirements and schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • University Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
  • Certificate or training in Rebar Detailing or Estimating software, e.g., aSa, CADS RC, Revit
  • At least 2 years' experience in Structural Steel Detailing, preferably on large and complex projects
