Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test plans for testing Layer 2 protocols such as DOT1X, EVPN, MSTP, RSTP, LACP, VRRP, multi chassis LAG, and virtual chassis.
  • Design and develop test plans for testing software features on Layer 3 protocols such as IPV4, IPV6, OSPF, and BGP.
  • Automate test cases using Python programming language for testing various software features.
  • Design network topologies for testing Layer 2, Layer 3 protocol functionalities using commercial traffic generator tools from IXIA and SPIRENT.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience as Software Test Engineer, Senior Software Test Engineer, Technical Lead, Staff Test Engineer, Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Engineer, Engineer-Software Engineering, or a related occupation.
  • Experience with CISCO ISE, Aruba Clearpass, Commercial switches and routers from Arista, CISCO, Juniper is highly desired.
  • Python programming language; and Traffic generator tools from IXIA and SPIRENT.
