We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, supporting their product and sector teams on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial spreading (PL, BS, and CF) using Excel-based models or lending platforms, along with key credit metrics calculation
  • Identify key performance indicators and create reports for the credit review process
  • Calculate covenant adherence in line with facility agreements and provide detailed rationales for covenant Met / Breach results
  • Perform annual, quarterly, and monthly reviews, populating associated templates
  • Business Overview
  • SWOT analysis
  • Conduct financial analysis (historical and forecast, as well as operating, leverage, and liquidity ratios)
  • Covenant performance
  • Verify compliance against thresholds (DSC, FCCR, LTV, Interest cover, leverage, etc.)
  • Collateral analysis
  • Provide ad-hoc support to portfolio managers
  • Mentor junior team members and act as an SME for other team members
  • Manage the performance and development of junior team members
  • Handle client calls and periodic communication
  • Support senior managers with project-level tasks such as delivery, dashboards, QCs, training, and client management
  • Regularly interact with portfolio managers to discuss tasks, templates, and deliverables to meet their expectations
  • Propose improvements to Task Turnaround Time (TAT) and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting from a reputable institute with 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong accounting and financial skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and solve issues effectively on time
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build a strong team culture
  • Ability to complete tasks on time
  • Active listening skills
  • Capacity to challenge current thinking by implementing new ways of working
