Senior Visual Effects Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Visual Effects Artist to join our creative team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the visual identity of large-scale, photoreal, and cinematic projects.

Your main responsibility will be to develop, refine, and maintain materials, shaders, textures & Large Scale Environments to achieve photorealistic and cinematic results. You will also define and implement look development standards across large-scale environments (20–50 km), ensuring optimised and efficient asset workflows.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, refine, and maintain high-quality visual effects assets, including materials, shaders, textures, and environments.
  • Implement look development standards across large-scale environments, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as animation and fx, to ensure seamless integration and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise scenes for performance in both offline and real-time rendering pipelines.
  • Maintain the highest level of detail and artistic quality, aligning with the project's creative vision.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance visual effects pipelines.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6-7 years of professional experience in visual effects, with a strong background in look development, shading, set building, and rendering.
  • Expertise in industry-standard software, including V-Ray, Octane, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine 5+.
  • A strong eye for composition, color theory, and aesthetics, with proven ability to achieve photoreal output.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced production environment.
